How ordering works

Sold by the carton

Prices are shown per square foot so floors are easy to compare, but every floor is sold in whole cartons, and each line packs a different number of square feet into one. The VDF series, for example:

On every floor page, enter your square footage or room size and the carton count and total update as you type. You can always set the number of cartons by hand.

Waste allowance

Planks are cut to fit at walls, doorways and corners, and the offcuts are not always usable. A waste allowance adds a percentage to your square footage before the cartons are counted. Ten percent is a common starting point for a straightforward room; rooms with many corners or angled layouts usually need more.

• Measure each room’s length and width in feet and multiply them.
• Add closets and hallways that will get the same floor.
• Choose a waste allowance, then round up to whole cartons. The calculator does this for you.

Sample chips

Every floor comes as a free sample chip. Order a few of the shades you are deciding between and see them in your own light, next to your walls and cabinets, before you commit to cartons.

Delivery

Flooring ships in 1 to 2 weeks. Cartons are heavy, between 25 and 55 pounds each, so floors travel by freight or come with your cabinet delivery. We confirm the delivery charge for your address before your order ships, or you can pick up at the showroom.

Please check your cartons when they arrive and contact us straight away about anything damaged in transit.
